Terms and Conditions of Back2Skills LLC
Effective Date: August 24, 2026
Last Updated: August 24, 2026
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of https://back2skills.com, including its websites, learning platform, course pages, free previews, checkout pages, digital materials, certificates, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
The Platform is operated by Back2Skills LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“Back2Skills,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By creating an account, enrolling in a course, purchasing a product, accessing course content, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
These Terms do not limit any mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived in your country or state of residence.
1. Back2Skills and Contact Information
Back2Skills LLC
2093 Philadelphia Pike #6109
Claymont, DE 19703
United States
Email: info@back2skills.com
Back2Skills provides self-paced online education in cybersecurity, ethical hacking, artificial intelligence, and related technical subjects. Unless a product page expressly states otherwise, Back2Skills does not provide live instruction, individual coaching, hosted cybersecurity labs, official certification examinations, or examination vouchers.
2. Eligibility and Age Requirements
You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms or use the Platform with any consent or authorization required by applicable law.
- United States: You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms and authorize your account, enrollment, and purchase where required by law.
- EU/EEA: You must be at least 13 years old. If applicable law in your country requires parental or guardian authorization for your use of the Platform, account, purchase, or processing of personal data, that authorization must be obtained before you proceed.
- India: You must be at least 18 years old unless Back2Skills has expressly implemented and offered an appropriate verifiable parental-consent process for the relevant service.
By using the Platform, you represent that you meet the applicable requirements. A parent or legal guardian who authorizes a minor’s use agrees to supervise that use and, to the extent permitted by law, accepts responsibility for the minor’s activity and purchases.
The Platform is intended for individual learners and is not directed to children under 13.
3. Accounts
Some content requires a Back2Skills account. You agree to:
- provide accurate, current, and complete registration information;
- keep your account information updated;
- maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials;
- use your account only for yourself and not share, sell, transfer, or sublicense access;
- promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access; and
- accept responsibility for activity conducted through your account to the extent permitted by law.
We may require reasonable verification before changing account ownership information, restoring access, processing a privacy request, or providing information about an account.
Back2Skills is not responsible for losses caused by your failure to protect your credentials, except where responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
4. Courses, Programs, Bundles, and Free Content
Back2Skills may offer:
- free courses and previews;
- individual paid courses;
- multi-course bundles;
- certification-aligned educational programs;
- quizzes, mock exams, cheat sheets, visual learning materials, and downloadable resources; and
- certificates of completion.
The specific content, features, price, access period, and included materials are those displayed on the applicable product page or checkout at the time of purchase.
Free content may be changed, limited, or withdrawn at any time. Paid content may be updated to maintain accuracy, improve learning outcomes, reflect technology changes, or correct errors. Reasonable changes to formatting, lesson order, examples, quizzes, or supporting materials do not create an automatic right to a refund, without limiting mandatory consumer rights or the Back2Skills refund guarantee.
5. The Back2Skills Method
Back2Skills uses a learning approach summarized as “Understand First. Practice Next.” Courses are designed to develop understanding through structured explanations, visual learning, reinforcement, quizzes, and guided next steps before learners move to intensive practice environments or advanced labs.
This describes our educational approach. It is not a guarantee that every learner will achieve a particular examination result, professional skill level, employment outcome, salary, certification, or career advancement.
6. Pricing, Currency, Taxes, and Payment
Prices are displayed on the relevant product page and confirmed at checkout. Depending on your location and the configuration of the Platform, prices may be displayed and charged in U.S. dollars or another supported currency.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- paid Back2Skills products are sold for a one-time payment;
- there is no recurring subscription fee;
- payment is due at checkout; and
- access is provided after payment is successfully confirmed.
Prices may change at any time, but a later price change will not alter a completed purchase. Promotional codes, discounts, and limited-time offers may have separate conditions and expiration dates and may not be combined unless expressly permitted.
You are responsible for any taxes, duties, foreign-exchange charges, bank fees, or similar charges imposed by law or by your bank or payment provider, except taxes that Back2Skills is legally required to collect and remit.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Back2Skills does not store full payment card numbers or CVVs. A transaction is complete only after the payment processor confirms successful payment. We may cancel or delay access when a payment is declined, reversed, disputed, suspected to be fraudulent, or not successfully completed.
If an installment option is expressly offered, the payment schedule and total price will be shown at checkout. An installment arrangement divides the purchase price and is not a recurring content subscription. Failure to make a required installment may result in suspension of access, subject to applicable law and the terms shown at checkout.
7. Digital Delivery and Immediate Access
Back2Skills products are digital content or digital services delivered electronically. After successful payment, your account may be created automatically and the purchased content made available through your Back2Skills Dashboard.
You are responsible for providing a valid email address, checking spam or filtered folders, maintaining a compatible device and browser, and ensuring a suitable internet connection.
For consumers in the EU/EEA, the checkout may request your prior express consent to begin supplying digital content immediately and your acknowledgment that beginning immediate performance may affect your statutory right of withdrawal. Any such acknowledgment applies only where it is validly obtained and permitted by law. The separate Back2Skills 30-day money-back guarantee remains available according to Section 9 and the offer presented at purchase.
8. Lifetime Access
When a product is advertised with lifetime access, this means access for as long as Back2Skills continues to operate the Platform and make that course or substantially equivalent content available. It does not mean the natural lifetime of the purchaser and does not guarantee perpetual operation of Back2Skills, a particular technology, hosting provider, course version, or third-party service.
Lifetime access is personal, non-transferable, and subject to compliance with these Terms. It does not include future products, new editions sold as separate products, live services, hosted labs, examination vouchers, or third-party subscriptions unless expressly included at purchase.
If Back2Skills permanently discontinues a paid course, we will make reasonable efforts, where practicable, to provide advance notice, continued access for a reasonable transition period, or access to substantially equivalent content. Mandatory consumer remedies remain unaffected.
9. Thirty-Day Money-Back Guarantee and Refunds
Unless a product page or checkout expressly states otherwise, paid individual courses, bundles, and programs sold directly by Back2Skills include a 30-day money-back guarantee.
To request a refund:
- Email info@back2skills.com within 30 calendar days after the original purchase date.
- Use the subject line Refund Request.
- Include the email address used for the purchase and enough information to identify the transaction.
To qualify for the Back2Skills 30-day money-back guarantee, the learner must not have completed more than 20% of the paid course or program when the refund request is received.
For a bundle containing multiple courses, progress is measured across all paid courses included in the bundle. Free previews, publicly available lessons, and free courses are not included in this calculation. Course progress is determined using the learning activity recorded by the Back2Skills Platform at the time the refund request is received.
A refund under the voluntary guarantee may also be refused if a certificate of completion has already been issued. Accessing or downloading an included study resource does not, by itself, make an otherwise eligible purchase ineligible.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Banks and payment providers control how long the credit takes to appear after it is issued.
The guarantee does not require Back2Skills to provide duplicate refunds, refund amounts not actually paid, or honor requests involving fraud, abusive refund activity, account sharing, unauthorized resale, or a material violation of these Terms. This limitation will not be applied in a way that removes a mandatory consumer remedy.
Purchases made through a third-party marketplace or reseller are governed by that seller’s refund process unless otherwise required by law.
These eligibility conditions apply only to the voluntary Back2Skills money-back guarantee. The Back2Skills guarantee is in addition to any statutory cancellation, withdrawal, conformity, refund, or other consumer rights that apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits those mandatory rights.
10. Course Access, Availability, and Technical Requirements
We aim to keep the Platform reasonably available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Access may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, security, provider failures, internet disruptions, events outside our reasonable control, or other operational reasons.
We may modify the Platform’s technical requirements and supported browsers or devices. You are responsible for keeping your device, software, internet connection, and security controls reasonably current.
If a technical problem prevents access, contact info@back2skills.com. We will make reasonable efforts to diagnose and resolve issues within our control. Temporary interruptions do not automatically entitle a user to damages or a refund, without limiting mandatory consumer rights or an applicable guarantee.
11. License and Permitted Use
Subject to payment, eligibility, and compliance with these Terms, Back2Skills grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to access and use purchased course content for your own educational purposes.
Where downloads are enabled, you may download and use the materials personally. You may not:
- copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, or commercially exploit course content;
- share account credentials, files, videos, quizzes, mock exams, certificates, or restricted links;
- record or redistribute lessons or bypass access controls;
- remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or ownership notices;
- scrape, crawl, systematically extract, or create a competing dataset or course from the Platform;
- use course content to train an artificial-intelligence model without written permission;
- impersonate another learner or misrepresent course completion; or
- permit another person to complete assessments under your identity.
No ownership rights are transferred to you.
12. Intellectual Property
The Platform and its original content—including course structure, lessons, text, graphics, visual explanations, videos, animations, quizzes, mock exams, cheat sheets, downloads, branding, software, and design—are owned by or licensed to Back2Skills and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.
Back2Skills, Back2Skills Academy, the Back2Skills logos, and the Back2Skills Method are Back2Skills identifiers. You may not use them in a way that suggests affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship without prior written permission.
All third-party names, product names, certification names, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Permitted references are used for identification, commentary, education, or compatibility and do not imply affiliation.
13. Cybersecurity and Ethical-Use Requirements
Cybersecurity and ethical-hacking content is provided strictly for lawful education, defensive security, and authorized testing.
You must use techniques, commands, tools, examples, and knowledge from the Platform only:
- on systems, networks, applications, devices, accounts, or data that you own; or
- where you have clear, prior, and legally valid authorization from the owner.
You may not use the Platform or its content to:
- gain unauthorized access;
- intercept, damage, disrupt, manipulate, exfiltrate, or destroy systems or data;
- create, deploy, or distribute malware;
- evade lawful security controls;
- conduct phishing, fraud, harassment, stalking, or identity theft;
- violate privacy, intellectual-property, export-control, sanctions, computer-misuse, or other laws; or
- assist another person in unlawful or harmful activity.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your activities are authorized and lawful. Back2Skills may suspend or terminate access and report conduct to relevant authorities where reasonably necessary or legally required.
14. Educational, Professional, and AI Disclaimer
Back2Skills content is educational and informational. It is not legal advice, individualized cybersecurity consulting, an audit, a penetration-testing authorization, employment advice, financial advice, or a substitute for professional services appropriate to your circumstances.
Cybersecurity and artificial-intelligence technologies change rapidly. Although we aim for accuracy and clarity, content may contain errors, become outdated, or not apply to a specific system, jurisdiction, examination, employer, or use case. You should independently verify important information and test technical actions in a safe, isolated, and authorized environment.
Artificial-intelligence tools can generate inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or unsafe outputs. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs, protecting confidential information, complying with third-party terms, and deciding whether and how to use AI-generated material.
15. CEH and Certification Disclaimer
CEH® and Certified Ethical Hacker are trademarks or certification identifiers of EC-Council or its related entities. Back2Skills is an independent education provider and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, approved by, or sponsored by EC-Council.
Unless expressly stated on the product page and checkout, a Back2Skills CEH-aligned program:
- is not official EC-Council training;
- does not include EC-Council courseware;
- does not include an examination voucher, official labs, examination registration, or certification fee;
- does not confer CEH certification or CEH Master status; and
- does not guarantee examination eligibility, admission, passing, certification, renewal, or recertification.
Certification bodies may change their curricula, eligibility rules, exam versions, fees, policies, and accreditation status. Learners are responsible for checking current official requirements directly with the certification owner before registering for an examination.
References to U.S. Department of Defense Directive 8570, DoD 8140, work roles, or related recognition are informational and concern the official CEH certification where applicable—not completion of a Back2Skills course. Back2Skills completion alone does not establish DoD qualification, workforce eligibility, employment eligibility, or compliance with an employer’s requirements.
16. Quizzes, Mock Exams, and Certificates
Quizzes and mock exams are educational tools designed to reinforce learning and help learners assess their understanding. They are not official certification examinations and may not reproduce the wording, scoring, difficulty, delivery method, or current content of any third-party exam.
A Back2Skills certificate confirms completion of the requirements established by Back2Skills for the relevant course. It is not an academic degree, professional license, government credential, accredited certification, or guarantee of competency, employment, promotion, salary, examination success, or regulatory compliance.
Back2Skills may withhold or revoke a certificate obtained through fraud, account sharing, impersonation, assessment manipulation, or another material violation of these Terms.
17. Prohibited Platform Conduct
In addition to the restrictions above, you may not:
- interfere with the operation or security of the Platform;
- probe or test the Platform for vulnerabilities without written authorization;
- introduce malicious code or excessive automated traffic;
- bypass rate limits, authentication, payment, geographic, or access restrictions;
- use bots or automation to create accounts, complete courses, or manipulate metrics;
- collect personal information about other users;
- use the Platform for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or discriminatory conduct;
- submit false payment disputes or chargebacks; or
- encourage or enable another person to violate these Terms.
18. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Platform at any time. To request account closure, contact info@back2skills.com.
Back2Skills may suspend, restrict, or terminate access when reasonably necessary because of:
- a material or repeated violation of these Terms;
- suspected fraud, chargeback abuse, account sharing, or unauthorized resale;
- unlawful or harmful activity;
- a security risk to the user, Platform, or third party;
- a legal or regulatory requirement;
- non-payment of an amount due; or
- discontinuation of the Platform or relevant service.
Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue. Immediate action may be taken for fraud, security threats, unlawful conduct, serious abuse, or legal requirements.
Termination does not eliminate rights or obligations that arose before termination. Provisions concerning payments, intellectual property, ethical use, disclaimers, liability, disputes, and other provisions intended by their nature to survive will remain effective.
19. Third-Party Services and Links
The Platform may integrate with or link to services operated by third parties, including payment, analytics, advertising, video, hosting, or software providers. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Back2Skills does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their independent acts, availability, content, security, pricing, or policies, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
20. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information are described in the Back2Skills Privacy Policy, available at:
The Privacy Policy forms an important part of your relationship with Back2Skills but does not reduce any privacy right provided by applicable law.
21. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Platform and content are provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis. Back2Skills does not make warranties, express or implied, concerning uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, examination results, professional outcomes, or compatibility with every device or third-party service.
Nothing in this section excludes mandatory warranties, statutory guarantees, digital-content conformity rights, or other protections that apply to consumers under the laws of their jurisdiction.
22. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Back2Skills and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill, data, examination fees, employment opportunity, or anticipated savings arising from or related to the Platform.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Back2Skills’ total aggregate liability arising from or related to a paid product will not exceed the amount you paid Back2Skills for the product giving rise to the claim. For a claim arising solely from free use, total aggregate liability will not exceed US$100.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful misconduct, gross negligence where applicable, death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable, or violation of mandatory consumer rights.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions or liability limitations. In those jurisdictions, these provisions apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.
23. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Back2Skills harmless from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising directly from your unlawful cybersecurity activity, unauthorized use of systems or data, infringement of third-party rights, fraudulent conduct, or material violation of these Terms.
This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from Back2Skills’ own unlawful conduct, negligence, or breach, and it does not limit mandatory consumer rights. For a minor, this section applies only to the extent legally enforceable against the responsible parent or guardian.
24. Export Controls and Sanctions
You may not use, export, re-export, transfer, or provide the Platform or its content in violation of applicable U.S. export-control, trade-sanctions, or similar laws. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to comply with a legal prohibition or binding government requirement.
25. Changes to the Platform or These Terms
We may update the Platform and these Terms to reflect changes in our services, business, technology, security, or legal obligations.
The current version will be posted on the Platform with an updated date. If a change materially affects an existing paid right or obligation, we will provide reasonable additional notice where required. Changes will apply prospectively and will not remove mandatory consumer rights.
If you do not agree to revised Terms, you should stop using the Platform. Continued use after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
26. Electronic Communications
You agree that we may provide agreements, receipts, notices, disclosures, and other communications electronically, including by email or through the Platform. Electronic communications satisfy legal writing requirements to the extent permitted by law.
You are responsible for keeping your email address current. Service, transaction, security, and legal communications may be sent even if you have opted out of promotional marketing.
27. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
Before filing a formal claim, you and Back2Skills agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the matter informally. Send a written description of the issue and requested resolution to info@back2skills.com. We will aim to respond within 30 days.
Except where mandatory law provides otherwise, these Terms and disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to mandatory consumer rights, the state and federal courts located in Delaware will have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, India, or a U.S. state with mandatory consumer protections, you retain the benefit of those protections and may bring a claim in any forum available to you under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms requires arbitration or waives a right to participate in a class or representative action where such a waiver would be unlawful.
28. General Provisions
- Entire agreement: These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the applicable product page, checkout terms, and any expressly incorporated policy form the agreement between you and Back2Skills regarding the Platform. If product-specific terms conflict with these general Terms, the product-specific terms control for that product, except where prohibited by law.
- Severability: If a provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
- No waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
- Assignment: You may not transfer your account or rights under these Terms without written consent. Back2Skills may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or by operation of law, subject to applicable consumer protections.
- No partnership: These Terms do not create an employment, partnership, joint venture, agency, or franchise relationship.
- Force majeure: Back2Skills is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, subject to mandatory consumer rights.
- Headings: Section headings are for convenience and do not alter interpretation.
